H.G. Lifshitz grew up in Israel and lived for several years in the United States. He has worked in the technology industry for over two decades, holding senior product leadership roles and founding a technology company. That experience — watching firsthand how intelligent systems are reshaping daily life — contributed to the writing of this novel.

He lives in Israel with his wife and three young children, whose appetite for improvised car-ride stories proved to be unexpectedly good training for writing a novel.

Andromeda is his first book.
